Some people have ANC issues, there is a TSB on it… Super quality tools for many years. Many years ago I bought Craftsman when Sears sold quality products; I abandoned Craftsman when they cheapened it and started selling it K-Mart. It used to be that a company would stand by their products to maintain their brand and customer reputation. I'm out living the companies that offer the lifetime warranty on most products.

I'm bothered because I found the Kobalt brand to be very good at the price point, and my experience with warranty was like 20 years ago at Sears. It has been over 10 years and my wife and I, despite now living in an old house requiring constant work, still do not shop at Lowe's. Also, I think the “Midwestern” vibe of Fort Myers transcends the new residents moving there.. There's also a fair # of people from the NE that settle in SWFL.
